Crucial Manchester City Women’s Football Team Fixtures
Manchester City is well poised for yet another strong finish in the Women’s Super League. However, a few important fixtures could have a massive impact on their current campaign. A quick run of fixtures towards the end of March sees City host Everton on March 24th. Everton is currently languishing at the lower half of the table. However, they could easily win a match on their day.
The last time the two clubs met, City were comfortable winners with a scoreline of 4-0. City would want to continue in their rich vein of form against Everton and hope they can replicate the same result as the first game of the campaign.
Manchester City has a quick turn-around of fixtures with a home game against Birmingham City. The Birmingham team is rooted at the bottom of the table. City would be expecting themselves to win the fixture comfortably. The last time the two sides met, it was a very tense affair. City edged out Birmingham City with a narrow 3-2 victory. With City looking to close the gap at the top, this game is surely a must-win for them.
Following the game with Birmingham, City visit West Ham United for an intense game. West Ham is right behind City, having played a game extra. The last time the two teams met, West Ham won the match 2 goals to nil. West Ham could prove to be a crucial game in City’s campaign aspirations. City would also be looking to reverse the result of their previous fixture.
Overall, the game is perfectly set up, and City would expect themselves to put their best foot ahead.
